Strengths: Solid graphics, sound, and gameplay.
Weaknesses: Dragging plot. Lots and lots of battles.
Summary: Capcom's made quite a killing on sequels. Whenever it seems like one series has bitten the dust, another new one takes its place. The Battle Network series reinvents Mega Man as a digital warrior in cyberspace. While the basic gameplay and battle system is fun and interesting, the plot didn't do much to keep me playing. I enjoyed applying and learning the upgrade system, but overall I was somewhat bored. A solid RPG for Mega Man fans.

Strengths: Colorful and nice graphics. RPG Design.
Weaknesses: Some players from the previous 2 could find it repeatative.
Summary: Capcom has done a great job once again with this game. The graphics are nice, although most elements were all introduced in the first 2 Gameboy games. Although this is the case, I enjoyed it. So for those who have played the other games, this isn't a must have. But for those Megaman fanatics, its another great game to play.

Strengths: Colorful Graphics, Unique battle system, creatative method of powering up Mega Man
Weaknesses: Some fans of the 2D action games may not take a liking to the way the Battle Network games play
Summary: I can't really condemn the MMBN series for staying the same; in fact, it's the aspects that remained the same that I felt were the best. It's what they changed that I can't say I enjoyed too much. While I welcome the idea of Capcom trying to innovate a bit, it detracted from the overall enjoyability of the game. Still, it's a fun game, certainly one of the better RPGs on the GBA, but it falls short in some areas. It's not as good as MMBN2, but it will still provide a great degree of entertainment.
