Avanti EWC28 28-Bottle Thermo Electric Wine Refrigerator

4.4
The Avanti 28 Bottle Thermoelectric Wine Cooler (model EWC28) offers 28 bottles of wine storage capacity with vibration-free thermoelectric cooling. Most wine coolers use a compressor to provide cooling. A downside to compressor-powered cooling is that the compressor creates vibration that can be transferred to the wine. This vibration can disturb the delicate sediments in fine wine. With the thermoelectric system utilized by the Avanti EWC28 thermoelectric wine cooler, your wine is kept at the appropriate temperature and humidity levels without all that vibration!

Rating: Time with product: 14 Months Strengths: Inexpensive Weaknesses: You get what you pay forStopped working in 14 monthsLow quality Summary: First unit did not work out of the box. Second unit lasted 14 months. These are inexpensive, but they do not last. You will be much happier spending more and getting a quality unit that lasts longer than the warranty period. |

Rating: Time with product: 10 Months Strengths: Cooled good when it worked. Weaknesses: Support for their products. Summary: Called Avanti to try and get my cooler repaired. Received chiller as a gift without receipt. They pretty much told me tough luck and find someone on my own to get it fixed. Would not recommend this company to anyone. |

Rating: Time with product: 1 Year Strengths: Works well when it works Weaknesses: Horrible support, no parts available after warranty expires Summary: I bought the wine cooler 15 months ago. Two months ago, right after the warranty expired, it stopped working all together due to a main circuit board failure. I called the manufacturer to get a replacement (I am paying for it). We are at the third month and the part is not here. I called and they said it is back ordered. Do not buy this product, support is horrible. |

Rating: Time with product: 5 Days Strengths: price, size Weaknesses: guality control Summary: the first one i received didn't work, the replacement arrived dented on the top, but works fine. it holds the temperature as advertised and fits 28 bottles. this was the least expensive in the catagory and suits my purposes so overall it's a good value and i would recommend it on that basis. |

Rating: Time with product: 3 Strengths: Cools off quickly, has varied settings. light Weaknesses: none Summary: We love our new wine refrigerator. It holds 28 bottles of wine. Our large champange bottles also fit in the bottom. It cooled off quickly. I like the interior light. I can turn it on where is acts like a night light in the kitchen or turn it off. It looksgreat. |
