Strengths: Another wonderful Resident Evil game for the GC! Awesome graphics, hours of fun.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: This game is a must for any Resident Evil fan. The story is rather interesting and was well written. The game play is not as enjoyable as Resident Evil 2 or 3 for the GameCube I thought but it is still playable. The graphic are nice but no where near that of Resident Evil 4. The audio in the game is really good though which helped make this game a lot more enjoyable to play. A must get for any Resident Evil fan!

Strengths: Good story
Weaknesses: Nothing added, changed or updated from the original version of Resident Evil CODE: Veronica
Summary: Resident Evil CODE: Veronica was originally released for the Sega Dreamcast in 2000 but since then has been re-released on the PS2 and now GameCube as Resident Evil CODE: Veronica X with the X signifying that it has some extra content in the form of story cut scenes involving Wesker. While it is great to see a classic released on the GameCube it's basically a straight port of the same game on the Dreamcast so it doesn't have updated graphics or anything new over the PS2 version unlike Resident Evil Remake which was totally revamped with updated graphics and even with certain parts in the game which were entirely new. You play the part of Claire Redfield who is looking for her brother Chris and during the game you will also get to play as another Characters that Claire meets (Steve Burnside) and later on as Chris Redfield. In Code: Veronica you control your character with the same tank style controls as older Resident Evil games and will be solving the same type of puzzles to advance though the game all the while fighting off Zombies and monsters as you play though the game. I would highly recommend Resident Evil CODE: Veronica to fans of Survivor horror or adventure games that haven't played it other then that I would only really suggest it to hardcore Resident Evil gamers/collectors since it's really just the same game as before but on GameCube.

Strengths: story, cinematics, extras, characters
Weaknesses: unexciting, slow paced, formulaic
Summary: Code Veronica has a more in-depth storyline than most Resident Evil games, and that's saying a lot. Great villains, too, and more extras and cinematics than the original version. As far as gameplay, goes, though, it's the most plain Resident Evil ever, and it can get a bit dull since the game is really, really long for an RE.

Strengths: Still a solid game, and they chose a great version to port this from.
Weaknesses: No extras other than the original ones from the DC version.
Summary: Resident Evil Code: Veronica X still stands as my favorite Resident Evil title to this date, even after the release of Resident Evil 4. The story is very well told through intense cutscene, and the characters are great. The cutscenes between Wesker and Chris are still gold. One good thing about this version is that it is a port of the Japanese Biohazard Code: Veronica Complete, which is slightly clearer and brighter than the PS2 release of Resident Evil Code: Veronica X. If you have played the PS2 version of Resident Evil Code: Veronica X then you will notice a different opening set of cutscenes highlighting the extra Wesker scenes since this is from the DC Japanese release. Capcom did not give us any extras not found in the original for this release either, but at least they didn't just flat-out port the PS2 version. I'm happy with it and some other fans probably are too.

Strengths: Multiple characters to play.Multiple endings.Various locations through out the game.
Weaknesses: Dated, No added features or enhancements: graphics, controls, or sound.
Summary: Would be better at a lower price ($20). It is a port of the PS2 and not DC, hence the X for eXtra storyline elements. Fun game to play, a must for an RE collector or survival horror fan.
