Strengths: Complete package for most small businesses.

Summary: Where to start? Although this is complete, I switched from Quickbooks and the import was far from smooth. A lot of my information just vanished. My boot and installation drive is a RAID10 and is not the typical C: designation. The DB portion of this program will not run without a lot of additional work and you need to call support to get that tidbit, which starts off your 30 days of support! I was hoping to save that for a bunch of questions as I got more involved, but needed to do that just to get started. My accountant had no problems importing Quickbooks data, but cannot easily get it from Peachtree. I do not find this as intuitive as Quickbooks and the changeover is tedious. If you are just starting, this may be fine, but I wish I had not switched!

Weaknesses: None so far!

Summary: Peachtree Pro Accounting 2009 is a great program to keep track of your sales data, accounts, vendors, customer and employee data. It features internal accounting review, sales invoicing, rapid access reports, receipts, payroll entry and inventory maintenance. Also, a very useful feature is integration with Microsoft Excel. I am very satisfied with this program. It will help me gain perspective with regard to business.
