Rating: Time with product: 2 Days Strengths: The only real strength is that it's cheaper than the Adobe equivalent. Weaknesses: Only OK as converter -- shrinks all pages just enough to screw up margins, even for Word and Visio files. Lousy as a PDF viewer -- changes thicknesses of lines from what's really in the file. Summary: Shrinks everything it converts -- result is NEVER 100% size. Insists on becoming your default PDF viewer, but doesn't show lines in drawings, accurately. In short, works OK, but don't love it. |

Rating: Time with product: 21 Days Strengths: good range of functionality Weaknesses: installation errors, inadequate PDF Forms functionality, pay per incident support Summary: Any PDF creator is 1/3 the price of Acrobat and claims to have identical functionality is worth a look... I found it ok to work with but there are plenty of better alternatives out there with this functionality plus more. Check out Nitro PDF Professional. |
