Strengths: Speedier burning and application loading; flexible programs for many digital tasks

Weaknesses: Some unneeded programs which can't be uninstalled separately

Summary: I have to hand it to Roxio. Their suite has me rethinking how I use digital media. I was carrying around an old cd player to listen to audiobooks. Now they've added a chapter and bookmark feature for devices. It makes it more efficient to listen to books. Also I didn't think to view my slideshows on my tv. It has the dvd player format so I can make disks for many more people too. For the more tech oriented people I can share my vids and pics on youtube and use their internet format converter. It will even upload to my account.

Strengths: Fast and stable in vista, good funcitonality

Weaknesses: some overlapping programs

Summary: My digital devices and burning needs are taken care of now. The suppot for devices is wide spread as it recognizes my cellphone. I like that it will auto format photos. It writes new disks and can compress a dual layer into a single. It will even span files onto several disks.

Strengths: Creator 2009 has all the tools that I will use at this stage of my photo and recording of free online books now.

Weaknesses: None that I can find at this time.

Summary: Most of the photos that I take now will mostly be sent as a E-mail photo. Now I will use the the audio recording part of Creator 2009 program. I donot need a large program like a number well known programs that cost a arm and leg and also have a huge learning curve. I wanted a program that did not eat up a large amount of computer space. Roxio Creator 2009 has given this so far. Plus it has an outstanding price for all of the tools that is included in the final product.

Strengths: Improved menus, better virtual drive support

Weaknesses: Takes 3GB of storage on the hard drive.

Summary: I have only had it installed for a couple of days now and upgraded from version 9 so there is a big difference between those versions. So far it is working great but I haven't tried it with the BluRay drive yet. The virtual drives seems to work a lot better than in version 9. The menus look a lot better also. Haven't noticed any problems with me running Vista64.

Strengths: Can do almost anything for digitla media. Extra includes entire disk backup, disk repair, audio capture

Weaknesses: Needs about 3GB of space just for the programs.

Summary: I'm totally satisfied with this purchase. Many times I found myself searching for media file readers and converters. Very convenient to have it in one place. It is also easy to make media projects with so many options available. Even photo slide shows can be upgraded with graphics, effects, sound and music. My old program would always crash. My own Zune and PSP are automatically recognized and files converted. My friends phones have also worked. Great range of device support.
