bit-tech Review
"If we marked out of 100 then Far Cry 2 would definitely be a 98/100 score, but we don’t. We mark out of ten, and ten is a score reserved for games that go that extra mile and do something to move the genre as whole forward. Far Cry 2 just misses that target, but it should still definitely be on your ‘Must Buy’ list." - 23rd October 2008

Rating: Time with product: Strengths: Landscape is very good. Weapon choices are numerous when they are available. Mode of travel is also varied-vehicles, boats, gliders, buses. Malaria bouts add realism, but are annoying. Weaknesses: Crashes to desktop too often. No fix available. Only solution to restart game is to reboot. Summary: Do a web search for "Far Cry 2" +crash and see how many hits you get. Characters are too talkative. Makes you want to say, "Get to the bloody point!" |
