Would you leave your home unlocked and unattended? Of course not. Security precautions are just common sense, especially when it comes to online computing. Internet threats such as hackers and Trojan horses can steal passwords, social security numbers, financial records, and more right from your computer. Protect yourself quickly and easily. With ZoneAlarm Pro, you can even block ads, limit cookies, and keep your Web activity private.

Rating: Time with product: 2 Weeks Strengths: Very easy to use as it is very similiar to its free version. My favorite feature is that you can identify who is trying to get into your computer and the fact that you can actually report them. Weaknesses: This software actually conflict with Mcafee products, which I was unaware of. As a result, it forces me to remove the McAfee antivirus software. Summary: Overall, this is still a decent software but it forces me to use other antivirus software. Going forward, it will be better if it is more compatible with most essetial software as it has cause inconvenience. |

Rating: Time with product: 20 Days Strengths: Easy to install, works as advertised, seems to be very effective. An excellent product. Weaknesses: Ad/popup blocking setup requires a little getting used to, but works well. Mostly owing to the terminology ZA uses to define diferent types of ADs. Summary: I switched to ZoneAlarm after 2 years of using McAfee Firewall. McAfee was just too buggy...crashed my system all the time. ZoneAlarm, on the otherhand, is very reliable and causes no system problems. |

Rating: Time with product: 2 Days Strengths: Easy to install; comprehensive protection; price. Weaknesses: Tutorial could be longer & more descriptive. Summary: As a novice computer user, I asked my company's database administrator to recommend software that would protect my home computers by providing security and privacy. He enthusiastically recommended ZoneAlarm, and after receiving and installing the product, I agree. Not only was the software easy to install, but the features are outstanding for the price. Overall, a great product. |

Rating: Time with product: 4 Years Strengths: ZoneAlarm is very secure and installs easily. I have purchased it repeatedly. Weaknesses: It requires annual updates to keep up with new versions, although you can keep using the old version with no add'l charge. Summary: ZoneAlarm pro is the best protection I have found for the MS Windows environment. I recommend it for all my home/small office clients who are still running Windows boxes. |
